Sean Ryan is a guard with good size who came to the Eagles for 2025-26 after learning his basketball down south. He played his underage with Neptune in Cork and had a season with Limerick Celtics before signing on.
His season got off to a stop-start beginning, disrupted by injury, but he improved as it went on and came into form down the stretch. His strengths are clear: outside shooting, offensive rebounding, and the size and athleticism to run the floor hard in transition.
Over 19 league games his best return was a 16-point night in the play-off semi-final win over Drogheda Wolves, and a fortnight earlier he had 15 points in the 107–74 win over Malahide.
On a team this deep, the value sits with the players who do a job without needing the ball, and Ryan was one of them all the way to the double.
