Jake Moore
A Limerick Lions graduate and Ireland underage international, one of the young guards the club has brought through to the senior game.

Jake Moore came up through the Limerick Lions, the same youth system that has fed the senior team for years. He has worn the green too: he made the final 18 of an Ireland Under-16 squad and was later named for the Ireland Under-17 men at the Home Nations. A guard who can shoot it, he joined the Eagles as a rookie for 2025-26.
It was a good season to arrive into. Moore was one of three rookies brought in alongside Fred Klimas and Odhrán O’Farrell, and he got onto the floor in six Division One games as the Eagles won the lot. His best night came in the 107–74 win over Malahide, where he scored 8 points off a pair of threes on a night the whole bench got on the scoresheet.
He is at the start of the road, not the end of it. The point of the Limerick pathway is that the youngest players train and travel with a championship side and learn what the level asks of them. Moore is doing exactly that.
