Daniel Shahab
A long-serving Eagle. Not the loudest name on a loaded roster, but a guard you can trust.
A guard you can trust.
Some players you sign. Danny Shahab is one the Eagles already had. He has racked up several national-league seasons in the blue vest, and he was on the floor for the campaign that ended in a double.
Fifteen against Mhaigh Cuilinn at home. Six in the 107–74 hammering of Malahide. Ten in the National Cup semi-final, the night the Eagles booked their place in the final. Not the loudest name on a loaded roster, but the kind of guard you want when the minutes come and the game is tight.
National Cup, Division One title, promotion to the Super League. Shahab was part of all of it, and he's still here for the next climb.
2025-26 with the Eagles
A trusted member of the double-winning squad. Shahab scored 15 in the home win over Mhaigh Cuilinn and 6 in the 107–74 rout of Malahide, and chipped in 10 points in the National Cup semi-final as the Eagles marched to the Cup and Division One double, and on to the Super League.
