Rob Lynch was part of the UL Eagles squad that won the double in 2011-12, taking both the National Cup and the league title in a single season.
Ahead of the February 2012 National Cup final, RTÉ named Lynch among the experienced Irish core of that UL Eagles side, alongside Matt Hall, Rob Taylor and Jason Killeen.
