Brendan Barry signed for the Eagles in January 2023. An American guard, he had played at Dartmouth College in the NCAA's Division 1, where he scored more than 1,000 career points and set the programme's all-time three-point record with 244 threes. As a senior he led all of NCAA Division 1 in three-point percentage at 51.3%, before transferring to Temple.
Across 11 games for the Eagles he averaged 29.3 points, with a high of 45 in one game. His spell in Limerick was short.
