Brendan Barry signed for the Eagles in January 2023, arriving with a serious shooting pedigree. An American guard, he had starred at Dartmouth College in the NCAA's Division 1, where he scored more than 1,000 career points and set the programme's all-time three-point record.
That shooting did not stay in America. In one game for the Eagles he poured in 45 points, the sort of night that has supporters talking long after the final buzzer. His spell in Limerick was short, but he left a mark.
