Chris Reidy.
Chris Reidy was one of the founding members of the UL Eagles, the club now known as Limerick Sport Eagles. For years he gave his time as a volunteer team manager, the kind of role that rarely makes the headlines but holds a club together.
He played a pivotal part in the club's Super League Cup and League successes, the people behind the team as much as anyone on the floor. In November 2025 the club paid tribute to him. The Eagles he helped build carried on.
