Limerick returned to winning ways in the league, beating St Paul's 91-72 at home behind a big night from Alex Carlisle.
Limerick Sport Eagles put the road wobble behind them with a comfortable 91-72 home win over St Paul's. The Eagles set the tone early and never let the visitors back into it, sharing the ball well and finishing strong.
Alex Carlisle was the standout, scoring 30 points on 9-of-13 from two and 3-of-8 from three, adding six rebounds and four assists with no turnovers. Ryan Leonard filled the sheet with 19 points, eight assists, six rebounds and four steals, the kind of all-round night that makes the offence tick.
Toby Christensen added 13 points and seven assists, and the contributions kept coming down the bench, with Stephen King grabbing nine rebounds and Ronan Cregan eight off limited minutes. Darragh Horkan hit a pair of threes in his eight points.
A nineteen-point margin and double figures from three starters is a tidy way to bounce back. The Eagles travel to Drogheda next.
