Limerick took the points 83-66 away to Portlaoise Panthers, sharing the scoring around and locking down the second half.
Limerick Sport Eagles got back to winning ways with an 83-66 win away to Portlaoise Panthers. It was a balanced effort, five players in double figures and steady defence that wore the home side down after the break.
Ryan Leonard top scored with 15 points, ten rebounds and six assists. Darragh Horkan matched him on 15, knocking down five from beyond the arc. Toby Christensen filled the sheet again with 13 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
Alex Carlisle added 12 points and eight boards, while Sean Ryan came off the bench for ten. The Eagles shared the ball well and limited Portlaoise to 66 on their own floor.
A useful road win to close out the year, and a measure of revenge after the Panthers took the points at our place back in October. The focus now turns to the Cup semi-final.
