Ryan Leonard is going international. The Eagles guard has been named in Ireland's Senior Men's squad for the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualifiers.

Leonard has been one of the Eagles' standouts in Division One this season. He was named January Player of the Month, the award handed to him by chairman Trevor Moore at the last home game, and he was on the floor for the 87-60 win over Team North West. Add it to a CV that already includes Super League Young Player of the Year in 2017, five years in the American college game and a return to Tralee in 2023.
